Just completed an online machine learning course led by Associate Prof Andrew Ng of Stanford University. It was a good foundation for someone new to the subject and had me reaching for my old Advanced maths text books! I was particularly interested by the way complex divisions between data can be found using relatively simple algorithms and matrix mathematics.
Next step - it's an exploration of MS Azure Cognitive Services to see how this can be used for business applications.
